A hands-on workshop where participants learn the basics of cuneiform, the world's oldest writing system, used in ancient Mesopotamia over 5,000 years ago. Everyone creates their own clay tablet to take home.
Dr. Heather Lynn will also bring select, ethically sourced artifacts from my personal collection, including a lapis lazuli cylinder seal, cuneiform tablets, and ancient figures, for a show-and-tell that brings the ancient world to life.
